Tao Lashley-Burnley creates work that is interested in the conversations between people, space and objects. He explores the boundaries of these states and looks to play with the organisation of their interactions and conversations. His works are mainly installations specific to the area of their display using sculpture, light, sound, reflection, video and projection mapping to alter the site and the experience it can create. The work begins as a reaction to space and ends with the action of the viewer; asking them to question structures and their relations
Tao is a member of Birley street studios and a key partner in installing Lubaina Himid’s touring exhibitions.
