Richard Bliss

Richard Bliss is an artist who’s work only exists through acts of collaboration with the public.  He is currently struggling to maintain a sense of coherence between being a gay man who loves men and masculinity, but who wants to challenge the ‘toxic’ masculinity that is so damaging to women and men.  Richard’s past work includes The Selfies Project exploring domestic violence with LGBTQI young people, Homes for Heroes, a site responsive drama with the residents of Pendower Estate in Newcastle, one of the oldest council estates in the UK, and FABULOUS! (with artist and film-maker Kate Sweeney) an LGBTQ walking tour of Newcastle.
